I love getting to know new people and places, always wonderful to find out new stuff!

Some time ago I somehow met a few people in Riga, talked a lot about Latvian culture and traditions, walked around the Old town and had a good time while doing so. And I would like to continue doing that. :)

I play a bit of kokle, Latvian traditional musical instrument, for 15 years now and often have some concerts somewhere around Latvia with my long-loved friends and kokle mates, it would be nice to go abroad with kokles and play there as well. :)

I'm tolerant to any music, most likely I listen to the same songs you do and a lot more that doesn't sound anything like that. Well, you name it! Classical, pop, electronic, folk, etc. Such performers as: Muse, GusGus, Crystal Fighters, Glass Animals, Chet Faker, Alina Baraz, Paradis, Stromae, Florence & The Machine, Mother Mother, Dead Times, Flume, etc..

Love fantasy and the topic of time and space travel. Thus, Doctor Who!

Mostly science fiction and crime books are my cup of tea:

and 'Top of the Heap' etc. by A.A.Fair of crime genre.

When I was a kid, I asked for the way to the Museum of History in Old Riga from Raimonds Pauls, the great Latvian composer and piano maestro. Not an autograph.
