Hi! I'm Elizabeth and I am travelling with my best friend Catherine.
We'll be travelling seperatly from january to march, so you may get a message from either of us.

We are two French-speaking Canadians exploring Europe with backpacks, big hearts, and open minds.

We’re a mix of cozy and chaotic: we love slow mornings with tea and poetry, but also wild nights dancing under lasers in unexpected places. You might find us reading tarot cards in the forest... or raving in a warehouse the next night.

We’re curious, respectful, and pretty adaptable. We’re passionate about deep conversations, sharing stories, good food, and meaningful connections. We can be very quiet and introverted (we love cats and long walks), but also totally silly and spontaneous when the mood is right. We both often need time to recharge and be on our own, so don’t take it the wrong way if we need space!

About me: I'm Elizabeth (she/her), but people call me Ellie. I'm a musician from Québec City, Canada. I'm setting off on a long journey through Europe with the intention of slowing down and living lightly. I'm a poet and musician, passionate about ecofeminism, nature, animals and history. I studied jazz music, but also herbalism and to be a doula (not working in those two fields at the moment but still passionate about them).
Other than that, my hobbies are: reading, dancing, crocheting, hiking, gardening, and I love a cozy tea time with good conversation. I have a passion for everything fantasy, witchy, and fairylike. I also love raves and big parties, but I was sober for 3 years and now don’t drink to get drunk anymore; I might like a glass of wine from time to time.

About Catherine: People call me Cath (she/her). I'm 29!✨
I fluently speaks french and english and I've been lerning japanese for almost a year now!

I'm a self-employed sushi chef (americanised ones tho, I'm sorry) so I'm used to being in and respecting other people's homes.

Most of my passion revolves around food, so I'm really looking forward to gathering new cooking experience, taste new stuff and share my experience with others.

Very important - we're queer, and need to feel safe wherever we're going to be. So we're looking for LGBTQ+ friendly spaces :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking forward to learning more by living a slow life with locals. I will also be joined by my best friend Catherine, who is a chef back home and cooks like nobody does. She also is a nature and animal lover and she likes gaming. We are both huge nerds too. We’re not here just to find a free place to sleep — we genuinely want to connect with people, learn about local life, and share something real. Couchsurfing is a way for us to meet beautiful weirdos from around the world and make this adventure unforgettable!

I love everything fantasy and witchy... so Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Dune.
I loooove Call Me By Your Name. Also period dramas.
I studied jazz but love all kinds of music, at the moment into electro witchy stuff I would say, for example i absolutely love Aurora, or the polish pianist Hania Rani.
