Hii, I'm Loïs Kroon. I'm 18 years old and currently living in the Netherlands. I come from a really big family, with 6 other brothers and sisters.
This year I finished my high school education. I'm all about adventure and exploring new things. That's why I choose to take a gap year next year. I'm planning on going to Hawaii. I love to travel, and if I could I would go to every country in the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There are two reasons why I want to go to Hawaii.
1. My love for the nature in Hawaii.
2. I believe the people are just as free and adventures as I am.
So, to make the best of my trip to Hawaii, I want to meet the people who live there. What better way to do that than with couchsurfing, right?

To be honest, I can't name just 3 or 4 things I'm interested in. I'm literally interested in everything. If I had the chance I would study everything. I love nature, culture, people, animals, just everything that makes life more interesting.

Music, Movies, and Books

Okay, well first I'm all over the place. I do not really have one particular genre that I like.
Music: I like everything that makes me feel something inside, or that has a good beat to it. Pop, hip-hop, house, reggae, latin, jazz, country, you name it.
Movies: Lord of the Rings, Ella Enchanted, Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging, The Hunger Games, The Maze Runner, Divergent.
Books: The Shock of the Fall, The Never-ending story, Lord of the Rings, Memoirs of a Geisha

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a sailing instructor, so I teach kids how to sail. It's a lot of fun and it's just amazing to see these kids have an amazing time.
I want to learn about everything.
I want to share my thoughts and knowledge with people from all around the world.
