Interests

Like everyone from my state in Brasil, I love sport. I'm also snowboarding in New Zealand for the past few years, but still learning. I would love to learn how to surf in the future!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like almost anything but I really like the traditional music from my state, musica gaucha. Popular rock as well.

Movies: I love classics, comedies, and action. My favourite movie has to be Gladiator.

Books: When I was younger I read the book O Caminho de Santiago, by Sergio Reis. It's about lifes challenges and self-discovery along the walk, Santiago de Compostella (The walk of Saint James). Recently read the book O Diário de Um Mago (The Pilgrimage) by Paulo Coelho, a fictional book set in the same location. Both of these are helping me gear up for my upcoming walk of the same route.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Left my country and made a new life somewhere that I didn't know the language. Now I have my residency here in New Zealand. It's pretty amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can teach you how to make chimarrao! I have good advice for new comers and visitors to New Zealand, especially the South Island.

Learn: I want to learn to surf! I'm eager to learn French and German if I can. I'm always open to learning about new cultures.
