Overview
About Me
I'm a regular 21-year-old from the Czech Republic who likes to live life to the fullest, travel around the world and especially learn new languages and discover new cultures. I am a Chemistry student but I'm also an active NGO youth worker and one day I would like to work as a translator/interpreter. Oh and I love dogs. (Cats are cool too though.)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I knew about CS for a long time but was always somewhat hesitant to join, until I stayed with a host thanks to a friend and had a total blast! I've found out that this platform is full of great people who share the same passion as me, which is exploring the world as traveller, not a tourist.
Interests
It might sound like a cliche but I really enjoy learning new languages. I work in an NGO focused on European mobility projects for young people. I am also very passionate about science, especially chemistry. I enjoy skiing.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a pretty bad (or unique?) taste in music, that's why I don't share my musical preferences until I've had a couple of drinks haha. As far as movies go, I dig disaster movies. Seeing a famous monument go down gets me going. I enjoy reading non-fiction titles on a particular subject, mostly scientific. Dystopian novels are great too. Right now I'm reading a Shakespearean adaptation of Star Wars.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Jumping off a 15-meter cliff into the Venus Pool on Maui, Hawaii.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm all about languages and foreign cultures, but I'm open to learning anything new. I can teach you to name organic compounds if that's your thing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm no Gordon Ramsey but I can certainly try to cook up a Czech specialty. And if worse comes to worst, I can follow recipes pretty well. I can share a lot about my country as we don't get that much promo around the world. I can teach you some impronounceable Czech tongue-twisters too!
