About Me

I grew up here in Laax and started snowboarding quite early (naturally if you live here ;D).After school I stsrted travelling around the world for almost a year after an attempt at nanoscience traveled on to south america learned spanish and now starting to study environmental engineering.

Well now you know where I've been to but I'm not too bad of a person... so say my friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After my travels I got addicted, like most on this page I think and now my travel plans are getting bigger than my bank account can suffer. Plus I really enjoy meeting locals because I think it gets you much closer to the location and the people. Besides that you'll have a lot more fun and now the secret spots and so on.
I'm also really looking forward to help someone get a little cheaper through Switzerland ;D

I'm a really enthusiastic swimmer and surfer (although there's no ocean here)
I like going out and meeting friends or do some hiking trips around the alps maybe go camping in summer.
I actually like doing almost any sport. But mostly I'm into action sports ( I just need that Adrenalin).

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is quite broad from hip hop over rock to electronic there are some tracks in every genre that I like (maybe not hardcore metal).
I really like "Mind-Fuck"- Movies like Donnie Darko, Fight Club, Cloud Atlas, but also interesting Biographies or Documentaries.
I'm really into popular science books (now that uni gives me enough not that much anymore). I kinda stopped reading fantasy altough I really liked it.
In general I wish I had more time to read in my day to day life because I'm almost like a book addict.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After a night out in Warsaw, Poland with some friends from my hometome. I woke up in the hotel room by my friends singing songs at about 5.30 am. I was still pretty drunk and went outside (one of the main squares in Warsaw), when I realized I was just in my underwear. But being drunk I was too lazy (or crazy) to go back fetch some pants. Outside I thought It'd be a good idea to climb a 5 m tall lantern ( well...), luckily my friends thought that too and reached me a rubish bin and a leaf. The day was beautifull and the blue sky was the perfect contrast too. Thus creating the most epic foto of me that'l ever exist. I even won 2 Polish Vodkas for that because we set up a challenge for the most epic foto of the trip. :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I think we can all learn and teach each other things may it just be another view on the world and we should share whatever we can because it makes both happy and gives hope in this sometimes harsh world. :D

What I Can Share with Hosts

All the basic stuff that's clear, like shower, kitchen, etc.
I'm always happy to give or lend stuff I don't need at the moment :D

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Canada, Cuba, Ecuador, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Portugal, United States
