My name is Matías and I live in Sant Joan Despí, a small town very closed to Barcelona city centre. I'm a travel addict who loves meeting people from other countries, sharing experiences and learning from other cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to meet people from other countries and show them one of the most amazing cities in Europe. On the other side, I would be pleased to have the same experience travelling around the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some Spanish and Catalan traditions while I would be very happy to learn foreign ones.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my time (or at least part of it) with hosts, showing my city or just helping them to do what they want in Barcelona. I am not a very good cook (I'm sorry), but I will be a motivated kitchen helper if the host wants to try out with Spanish or any other cuisine. In any case, there will be always one beer to share with my guests.
Another local experience I can offer is horticulture. I own a vegetable garden with some friends, so if you are motivated we can spend a couple of hours there planting vegetables or just taking care of the land (there is always a lot to do...) and eat some calçots (Catalan typical food)./ And I will be always opened to new plans and proposals.
