Hello people!!

I'm Agustina, originally from Argentina. After living in London, UK for 6 years I decided to change my life once more and moved to Australia with a WHV. I worked the 88 days for my extension in Port Douglas and after that I settled in Byron Bay where I currently live. I teach acting & improv, I perform often and I love to stay creative and connected with my passion. I’m also learning (and loving) surf, of course.

In London I completed an MFA in Acting and I started pursuing my dreamed career as an actor, writer and creative. I abandoned a more secured path in order to follow what my heart wanted and I'm incredibly happy and grateful with that decision! (I previously graduated as a lawyer in Argentina)

In Port Douglas I put on a one woman show called “Unsettled. The search between wandering and belonging” and after 3 successful performances I decided to bring it with me along the east coast. I performed it at beaches and parks in Magnetic Island, Airlie Beach, Noosa and Byron Bay. I had two sellout ticketed events and I’m currently brining it to Sydney and Melbourne Fringe.

I'm very passionate, energetic, lighthearted, easy going, outdoorsy, adventurous, spontaneous & playful.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I started using Couchsurfing yearssss ago because I was travelling alone and I thought it was great for meeting people. I also like the idea of having someone local telling me about the city, making some non touristic recommendations, and if possible hanging out with me. I was genuinely surprised with people's kindness and how helpful they were with me. It is so inspiring!! I love this community.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

The first time I took a plane was just by myself. I went to work to Aspen (United States) and then travel around the country alone. I won't miss anything just because no one can join me. I even went to Disneyland alone!!! And enjoy the single riders benefits haha. Also I went to many National Parks that were absolutely breathtaking.
I´m very brave (or crazy haha) and did some difficult hikings in Thailand or skiing down the Bowl (Highlands, Aspen). I came to London with one way ticket without knowing how my life was going to be.. and now I’m so grateful for it!

Currently I rent a room in a house and the landlady isn’t keen on CS, so unfortunately I can’t host. Once I get my own place I’ll be more than happy to continue hosting and to give back to this wonderful community.
