I am half Italian, a quarter Swiss and a quarter Dutch. I have worked as artist manager and project coordinator for an art gallery until 2016, I am now traveling full time since 3 years. I learn from the people I meet, I have a passion for indigenous cultures and music, I enjoy listening, observing and sharing my experiences through photography.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really appreciate being in a place that is home to someone, rather than staying in a standardized hostel room. I am traveling for a long time and am mostly not "on vacation" but wishing to dive into a culture. Concepts like couchsurfing, home exchange etc... are such beautiful occasions to share! Whenever I will have a home again, I will love to host too :)

Jazz mainly (Ella, Billy, Chet...)

Love classics like 'Rear Window' or 'North by Northwest' by Alfred Hitchcock or 'The Apartment' Billy Wilder to mention a few. Woody Allen, Stanley Kubrick, Coen brothers... a lot of independent productions. Selected documentaries, which I find very hard to do well, but when they are good they can change the world!

'The Walk' Robert Walser, 'Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind' Yuval Noah Harari, 'Bluebeard' Kurt Vonnegut... I really have too many to list here... and I love short stories and live storytelling.

I flew an airplane (cessna) and have crossed the Atlantic on a cargo ship :)

I am traveling with a bag full of enthusiasm and I hope to be contagious with it. I will be more than happy to cook some italian dishes for you and help out in the kitchen to learn your traditional recipes!
