About Me

Hi, I’m Carito.
This used to be my personal profile when I was traveling solo across South America and Europe. But I got married two and a half years ago, and now I share this profile with my husband Rubén. We travel together as a couple and decided to keep this account so hosts can see my past references along with our current journey together.

🧡 Who We Are

We are Carito and Rubén, a Colombian couple of circus artists. In 2026, we will be studying Circus at INAC School in Portugal, and during that time we hope to travel around Europe, meet locals, and learn from different cultures.

We love exploring new places, learning new languages, and connecting with people through art, creativity, and meaningful conversations. Our passions include circus, dance, clown, community work, and everything that brings people together.

We run an artistic group called El Mapa Cultural, where we create cultural projects using circus, dance, puppetry, theater, and creative workshops.

We also have a circus school called El Circo de la Mariposa, where we teach circus arts to children and young people from low-income communities. Art is our way to create joy and positive transformation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

❤️‍🔥🎪We run a social circus project in Colombia called El Circo de la Mariposa, where we teach circus arts to children and young people from low-income communities. Through circus, dance, and creative workshops, we inspire creativity, confidence, and joy. We also have an artistic group called El Mapa Cultural, where we create cultural projects, performances, and community events to bring people together and share art with everyone. This work is very close to our hearts and shapes the way we travel and connect with others around the world.
