Hi guys,
I'm quite a normal guy - I love adventure and travelling. For me travelling is not only seeing new places, it's a way of life - living your life to the fullest, enjoying each moment, meeting great people, using every minute of every day. I always try to do some work at home and after that I love to fly out to the world for some time. I was born in Košice - east Slovakia, it's not a very famous place to visit, but visitors who come usually tend to stay for a long time, since the culture is not really comparable to any other place :) I love it there, but I've moved to Prague, Czech Republic to get my degree in zoology and now I live here as a free lance video producer and documentary film maker.

One of the greatest things about travelling is meeting interesting new people and isn't couchsurfing the best way to do it? :)

Interests

My greatest passion is documentary film. I think it's a great way of showing the world what kind of problems we have today. I concentrate especially on nature conservation. I have been filming about rainforest destruction on Borneo, an inspirational african man planting trees, saving one of the world's rarest birds and the reintroduction of wild horses to Mongolia. I hope I'll get the chance to make many more movies. One of the reason why I love to travel is to gain experience and find stories, which would be interesting to document. Apart from that, I love hiking in the mountains, anything related to biology and science, watching movies, going to concerts and hanging out with my friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Uff, that would be a long list... I don't really have a favorite band or singer. When I'm nostalgic I listen to Radiohead or Portishead, when I want to dance I listen to balkan or gipsy music, when I want to relax I listen to reggae, when I'm on the road I listen to Sixto Rodriguez or Jimmy Hendrix... there's a lot more ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've climbed a 6 thousand meter mountain in the Himalayas. Looking forward to climb a 7 thousand :)
