I was born and raised in Lima, Peru. I lived there until I was 17 years old. In 2009 I moved to Canada with my family. That same year I started attending the University of Ottawa. I studied environmental science and I graduated in 2014. Since I finished university, I have done wildlife fieldwork at a number of countries. The highlights have been China, Costa Rica and The Galapagos Islands in Ecuador. I'm trying to focus on bird studies and I really enjoy learning about the local fauna wherever I go.

I think that CS is a great tool for meeting local people when travelling. My sister and I have hosted couchsurfers at our place in Ottawa through her CS account, always having positive experiences.

I'm really into Salsa, Hip Hop, Rock, Electronic and Reggae.

I can genuinely say that I am a movie lover. I really enjoy watching independent movies and documentaries. However horror movies are definitely my favourite.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I spent two months camping in an isolated island in the Galapagos archipelago with 4 other biologists for a research study on the Nazca boobies. We didn't have cell reception or internet. Not even running water. We brought all out food and water with us on the first day. And we used ocean water for bathing and dish-washing. Although it was a very challenging experience, both mentally and physically, I can truly say it was one of the most amazing things I have done in my life, and I would love to go back.

I used to moderate conversation groups at the university so I can teach you some Spanish. Also some latin dancing: salsa , bachata and merengue are my favourites.
