Hi everybody! My name is Joan, I'm from Castellón, Spain and I live in Rio de Janeiro since 2014. I'm 29 and I work as a freelance journalist. My office is my home and I'm so lucky because my 'office' has stunning views over the ocean :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I left my family home when I was 18 as I moved to Barcelona, where I studied Journalism at University. During those years I shared a flat with friends for many years, so I'm used to share my life with other people. Another think I like to do is showing my homeplace to other people, so they can enjoy the city as much as I do.

In my opinion, travelling is much more than taking selfies and spending your time at the queue of a very famous monument. Meeting the locals and learning how real life works in the places you visit is the best part of the journey. That's why Couchsurfing is a great option!

兴趣

I live in Rio, so it won't be a surprise if i say that an afternoon at the beach is always a good idea. After that, singing and dancing in some 'roda de samba' is another good option ;) I also enjoy hiking, reading and going to the theatre.
