Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling with Couchsurfing taught me that people are generally kind and good-hearted everywhere in the world and that everyone has a thoughtful and inspiring story to learn from.

Since all my experiences from Couchsurfing were positive and I had many wonderful moments thanks to this site I feel obliged to help foreigners who visit my country to give back some of the kindness I received. So when I can not travel, I just meet up or host and it is a unique experience because people always give me a piece of their culture and reflect on my world from their aspect.

Interests

I find great pleasure in the improvement of my soul (getting out of my comfort zone) and I take delight in the achievements of people. Thus, I love listening to them and their stories.

I'm passionate about traveling and getting to know other countries and cultures because diversity makes this world beautiful. I like learning languages (English and Deutsch).

I am interested in many topics and disciplines like: geography, demography, enviromentalism, economy, international relations, history, philosophy, psychology and documentaries about the universe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the autumn of 2015 me and my friends met Luqman (Indonesia) whom we knew from Interpals. He spent a week with us.
It was challenging to show him our country in such a little time but we succeeded. We have been in upland regions but also in endless lowlands, we have sailed on a river but on a lake as well, we have seen big cities and small villages. We have eaten in expensive and cheap restaurants food but homemade food as well. To sum up, we walked, hiked, talked, laughed and ate a lot and we will never forget this amazing week with this amazing Indonesian guy.
