About Me

...my mom taught me that it's not polite to flatter yourself... so I just do it on my CV! xD

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have landed on Couchsurfing cos' I'd like to meet people in the city of Amsterdam as I recently moved there and I barely know someone at my new home : ) An old friend of mine in Ireland recommended me this site as it looks like people here really wanna meet interesting people, and not only getting laid! (of course, I'm not against sex -actually I really enjoy it- but there are much more things in life, lads!)

Interests

Old and new friendships, Independence, Social Justice, COMICS, Cinema (also in capital letters), History, travelling to meet/know/discover, good conversation, the 'different', the 'unconventional', the 'divulgative', gastronomy from here and there, anyone/anything that it's not artificial, enriching reading, share me/you, natural landscapes, animal kingdom, underground world politics, constructive criticism, beers in good company, pot growing... and Knowledge and Pleasure overall : )

Music, Movies, and Books

Regarding music, I'd pick to Bob Marley, Skunk Anansie, Disturbed, James Brown, Morcheeba... and that's just a few amongst a thousand more I really enjoy!

"The Godfather" (part I & II) are, without any kind of doubt, my top favourite movies, but titles as "Casablanca", "Martín (Hache)", "The African queen", "Pulp Fiction", "El día de la bestia" or "Cinema Paradiso" get me the thrills as well.

As it happens with cinema, it's hard to choose just a few titles from among my favourite books, but I'll mention here "The Silmarillion", "1984", "The Godfather", "One hundred years of solitude", "Dune", "Foundation series" and "Cthulhu Mythos", just to name some of them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've never opened an account in Facebook LOL!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd be pleased to help you to practice your Spanish level (listening, writing speaking...) if you practice your English with me as well... or even better, if you are really brave and therefore willing to give me what would be my first lessons in Neerlandish!

Countries I’ve Visited

Cuba, France, Mexico, Portugal, United Kingdom
