I used to look at pictures of someone travelling and thought "oh that's so cool, beautiful places, I want to go one day". I realised it's never going to happen that way, took an academic leave and booked a flight to Australia.

It's my first independent, badly planned trip. I'm a bit scared and hope to find help from friendly couchsurfers/hosts if or when I'm in trouble.
