About Me

hi guys! im Adrian Yeap, an undergraduate law student from Malaysia and i am still a beginner as a backpacker, would like to explore more and more countries in the future, travelling bug has bitten me a few years back and im so convinced to hav at least a backpack trip once a year!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to know more friends out there and to broaden my network!
i believe in chemistry with strangers and never get bored to listen other's life stories.
I'm inspired to meet people through CS cause it's a superb platform to get to know others by chances like this! Most people only get to dip a toe into another culture, however I believe Couchsurfing allows me to dive in headfirst, especially through interaction with the locals who know their place well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Myanmar for my FIRST solo backpack trip in Nov 2015, totally an exciting experience for me! I met awesome backpackers from around the world, everything started from a warm regards by a China girl whom I met in Yangon airport and we talked & decided to travel together in Myanmar! The next day we travelled to Bagan by overnight bus and we met another Malaysian lady who works in Singapore, here goes the 3 of us exploring Myanmar together. Along the way we got to know another French lady n Swiss guy , we could click so well with each other that we travelled together for the next five days... Getting to know them is one of the amazing things despite if the language barriers n cultural differences 😊
