I'm Daniel, 26 Year now and from Germany. Unfortunately i didn't travel that much in the past, so i decided to chanche that now :)

During the last four years, i organised vacations and weekendtrips for mentally handycaped peoble. In September i finished my bachelor degrees in social economics and started working in administration of Refugees in Freiburg.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think one does not learn much about a country while just visiting tourist hotspots an staying in hotels. Every country in this world has its own history, its own culture and its own special places. Residents know their city, they know spots of special interests and special stories to tell, such stories you never hear on ordinary tourist vacations. And residents know exactly where you can get the best food in town ;)
Thats exactly what I'm searching for and thats why i want to avoid spending too much time in hotel or hostels as long as I'm interesting enough for a few of you. I want to get to know a country how it realy is, not how marketing people want it to show it.
In my oppinion couchsurfing is the best way to reach theese goals, so that's why 'm on Couchsurfing :)
