I'm a teacher and a mom. I love to travel and meet new people. I'm an artist and work in oil on panel or canvas. Alaska isn't my birth state, but the people here are so amazing that I can't imagine living anywhere else. Every summer I vow to do "Alaskan" things, hopefully this summer I'll meet someone who can show me the ropes.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

My best friend and I are traveling to NYC for one of our best friends (since grade school!) weddings in May and we need a place to stay. Funds are tight with both of us, and we love to meet new people so couchsurfing seemed like a good choice. We are not loud or gross or messy. We used to be party people in our 20's but I think Amanda and I will both agree we are very tame after having kids. It's just the two of us, and we promise not to eat all your chocolate. (Ok..maybe just half...but I'll buy you more!)

If it makes me pee laughing while reading sign me up. im in my last 3 credits of my masters so I don't read much lately except professional development and journal articles. (Hence I need things to make me laugh).

I'm an honest person who can't help but finding the good in people. I trust and love and if you know me you're part of my friend family. You might not hear from me for awhile because of being busy with my kiddo and job, but I promise when we do see each other it will feel as if no time has passed.
