I'm a very down to earth kind of person, who likes to go with the flow. I don't plan too far ahead in life and like to make untraditional life choices. I really enjoy meeting new people and listening to their stories and their view of life. It can be so inspiring and interesting.

Roadtripping is my favorite way of travel because I really enjoy driving, and it makes me feel free in a way that is hard to explain. I also really enjoy skiing, hiking, fishing, camping - basically anything where you get to be active and outside. I don't really like to do touristy-stuff. When I travel I want to experience what it would be like to live in the place I'm visiting. Some of the best traveling memories I have are from hanging out with local people and being invited into their home. If you welcome me into your home, I will be very grateful.

I'm a 5th year med student, and I like to geek-out about some really boring stuff sometimes (just a warning). I chose medicin because I thought it would be fun to be in med school and because of the many post graduate possibilities. I dream of joining MSF and traveling to some of the poorest and most dangerous places.

If you want to spend some time with me, I'm up for almost anything, maybe except for karaoke (trust me, it will be painful for you too). Cooking a meal together, just hanging out, talking about philosophy for hours over a gras of red wine or a cup of coffee, binge-drinking and dancing on tables.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all I'm a couchsurfing virgin, however I expect that this is the best possible way to experience a city. I hate feeling like a tourist. I think couchsurfing could be a great way to get som "insider" information and maybe a tour or even an invitation to a private party.

I like all kinds of music maybe except electronic music. I'm going totally old school at the moment listing to Dire Straits, Queen, Elton etc.
I don't really watch that many movies, but I'm really excited to see End Game when it comes out.
When I'm not droving in books for med school I like to read fantasy. I'm currently reading A Storm of Swords.
