My daughter is studying abroad. I am going for a vacation and we are traveling Europe. I think staying with locals gives you a more honest and realistic experience than a hotel.

I love to read, and Karin Slaughter and Kathy Reichs are two of my favorite authors. I like to go to wine tastings. I also like to paint, however I'm not very good. I love to bake and have a small side business baking for special events.

I am also looking into teaching English abroad after I retire.

I'm pretty normal and haven't really done anything amazing.
For me, flying for the first time at age 52 was amazing, and my first flight was from US to Denmark....8 hours!

I live in a rural area with a beautiful lake. I can share cozy lake restaurants. I can also teach you to bake if interested.
