Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why I’m on Couchsurfing? Maybe to meet interesting people to chat with, maybe to see new great places, maybe to taste different cuisine or maybe to enjoy free time and get to know the world. Maybe to do everything. :)

Interests

What I really like is to listen music but if you ask my what genre I enjoy the most I won’t know. ‘Cos I listen everything which has it’s energy. You know: Nightwish (rock), Hooverphonic, Troye Sivan (pop, house), Enya (nature, or whatever it is … :D), and cloud of others. Oh, and my favourite is Ghost love score song (Nightwish) and The Quiet (Troye Sivan)… try to google it.

Do you smell that fresh air and listen birds singing? That’s why I really enjoy being in nature, walking in forest and relaxing.

And I also like watching movies, going to cinema. Do you have HBO? Yeah? So you have to love Young Sheldon series, The Middle, or True Detective, Berlin Station … nice ones. And Star Trek (…that’s right Mr. Spock), documents, oh and I’ve seen the very first version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde with live orchestra. Nice.

Oh, I couldn’t forget about cycling, reading books (especially sci-fi like Dune from Frank Herbert…aww), doing nothing, going to gym…

History. I really like modern history. So I saw loads of documents about Iron Curtain, communism in the West Europe and stuff like that. Have you ever seen Lidice movie or document about Milada Horáková?

Zero waste. I’m just a guy who loves nature and don’t like wasting things, creating plastic rubbish. So I usually attend cleaning nature events with my friend (hmm, you would never expect what can you find thrown up somewhere :D ). Just trying to live in harmony with nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading books with thematic music on the background. And I read usually in the summer (ask me why… :D). And what do I read? Maybe I can answer you “just everything” this time it’s not true. :) I enjoy especially sci-fi and I can’t forget about economic newspaper, online articles abou IT or marketing, … and I have a pretty interesting piece of book – The Genius of Birds.

Whoa. There’s a lots of it. We can have a chat about our cultural differences (or I can share a few Czech/Moravian traditions), I can tell you lot about history, maybe I can help you repairing something (it’s true). :D I can teach you a few Czech/Moravian words?
