Hi, I'm Cassie and I'm 25.

I originally come from a place called Bristol I'm England but I have kinda lived all over, I went to school in Bath, lived in Brighton for quite a few years and also a small town in Suffolk.

A couple of years ago I felt like I needed a change so made the decision to move to Australia. I spent two years there working and travelling. Unfortunately my visa ended in December, after spending that long there I decided to avoid the British winter and have spent the last 3 months travelling South East Asia.

I'm on couchsurfing because after spending 3 months in hostels (don't get me wrong I've had an absolute blast) I think it would be nice to spend my last couple of days with a local, get to know a bit more about the area and maybe see some hidden gems that most backpackers don't get to see.

兴趣

I always find this area hard to fill, I like all kinds of things, although I am yet to find my passion I still enjoy being active like hiking or going for a cycle, I like to read, I especially enjoy partying and going to festivals and gigs etc.

I have a very eclectic taste in music, jungle and drum n bass are definitely up there as some of my favourite genres, I also like listening to indie and rock, old sixties music, Motown and soul, hip hop, the list kind of goes on.

And movie by Tarantino or the Coen brothers, Wes Anderson films are also great. Watched the Deadpool movie recently and was in absolute stitches (I highly recommend to anyone to go and see it). I guess the only films I don't really like are romance.

My two favourite books that I've read so far are Room, and A Thousand Splendid Suns

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

An amazing thing I've done is a skydive over mission beach in Northern Queensland in Australia. I get that a lot of people have done one but I'm absolutely shit scared of heights so it was a real achievement for me.
