Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couch surfing is the best way to reach people and have a more meaningful experience of the places I visit.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite music: mmm, quite difficult to pin point one. Every now and then I rediscover some pearls from the forgotten past. I am particularly interested in Brazilian music, from Choro, to MPB, and various Brazilian northeastern rhythms.
Favorite movie: Mostly movies out of the hyper-commercial circuit. Motorcycle diaries (Diários de motocicleta) and Captein Fantastic are probably the ones that touched me the most. Though there are plenty of other good movies out there
Favorite book: Another difficult one. Kafka's The trial (Der Prozess) for a novel, and J. Diamond's Guns, Germs and Steal for a non-fiction one
