About Me

I do not accept requests send more than 1-2 days in advance.

More about myself:
Being curious made this girl leave her home country. "Poland is beautiful. So cosy and interesting. But how is the life beyond?" - she asked herself. Books were telling some stories. Movies were telling some stories. All colorful and interesting. But none of the stories was hers.

She packed 25 yers of her life in one backpack. She took the random overseas flight. She left snow and exchanged it for unbearable heat. In the tropical sun she began to write her own story. All to answer the question: "how is the life beyond?"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been travelling from hostel to hostel. Firs week was fun, second too. So many different nationalities in one place! But after the tenth I have realised that these were all kind of people except of locals. "Something is wrong here. I am meeting more Europeans than in Europe. What about locals?" - I have told to myself. And rushed to join couchsurfing.

Interests

Everybody likes to hang out or spend time with friends. I am no different. But what I really like is to hang out with foreign people and observe the small intercultural clashes that follow. Every nation, or region, has its own, particular way of thinking. It is only by contrasting them with ours that we can discover who we are. And I simply enjoy learning about myself by meeting others.

Music, Movies, and Books

Butterfly Effect beats all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Deleting Facebook account.

Teach, Learn, Share

In Central America green mangos are more popular than ripe ones. Best served with salt and lemon.

In Peru you can order a frog shake. Yes, it is literally blended frog. It is supposed to be very healthy. And delicious.

In India marriage ceremony lasts more than a week. But there are no dances after the actual marriage vow.

Switzerland is one of the most developed countries in the world. Yet, you can forget to buy anything on Sunday. All shops close on Saturday afternoon and will not open till Monday.
