我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I love to travel. I enjoy hikes, sightseeing and especially foreign cuisine. To travel the world was always a big dream of mine and I would like to re-start following it via this site.

兴趣

I am a historical fencer - currently doing reconstructions of medieval fencing schools (especially the German one also with hints of Italian, further referred to as HEMA) and also historical life in general.

I am a foodie - my one big love is good food and whoever knows me, no matter how long, is well aware of this fact.

I also love animals. I have a dog - a female White Swiss Shepherd called Thyra; with her I'd love to take as many trips as I possible. So if animals are in play, I'm all in!

And also I'm a gamer. Favourite games: World of Warcraft, Skyrim.

音乐、电影和书籍

MUSIC: I love guitars. Electric, acoustic, doesn't matter. So I enjoy all kinds of music involving them. Mainly I like rock/metal and stuff related to that but I also enjoy folk music etc. I don't really feel confined to one specific genre and appreciate anything that has a nice tune.

MOVIES: My choice of movies depends on my mood really. I've been a big fan of Disney/Pixar in general so I love a good animated movie. I also like sci-fi, comedy, thrillers but once again, if it's a good movie, I don't really care what genre it is. What I hate in movies are dumb jokes and characters.

BOOKS: My all time favourite author is E. A. Poe. I like books with a dark twist to the storyline. I also like funny stuff. What I don't like is idealistic scenarios, diabetes-inducing sweet romance stuff and abstract poetry.
