I've just recently graduated Rutgers University this May and am taking a gap year before I apply to medical school. I have 3 older sisters and 1 younger brother. I was born and raised in New Jersey. 我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

The reason I am couchsurfing is because I am looking to expand my mentality. I've lived in the same town my whole life and was surrounded by the same people, views, and mentalities my whole life. Not until i went to Rutgers did my mind truly expand and flourish. I was introduced to many different types of people and subcultures of America. i was fascinated by how different people can be when they only live 2 hours from me. With couchsurfing, I hope to meet even more different types of people. I want to learn different cultures. I want to see what the world has to offer. This is the only way I see myself becoming a well informed member of the global community.

兴趣

One of my passions is sports. Not only do I love the traditional American sports,(football, baseball, and basketball) I also enjoy futbol, tennis, and cricket. My favorite sport however would have to be futbol. Though I only started playing and watching in 9th grade, it quicky became a strong passion of mine.

I also enjoy engaging in political/ social debates. Listening to other perspectives and trying to refute them is very enjoyable. However I enjoy more when a person introduces a different outlook on a topic and changes the way I think about said topic.

As I've gotten older, a growing interest of mine is to travel the world. There's just something about meeting different people and seeing places you only see on TV that makes me very happy. This summer I will be traveling to Europe for almost 2 months.I hope in the future I can say that I have traveled the globe!

I love all superhero movies. That being said, I hated Batman v. Superman. One of the greatest disappointments of my young life. We can debate if you disagree!

I truly enjoy all types of music. If it sounds good, I'll listen to it! My music library includes Kanye West, Eminem, Lupe Fiasco, Nas, Linkin Park, Fall Out Boy, Taking Back Sunday, Disturbed, Green Day, Hardwell, Chainsmokers, Alesso, Tiesto, and much more. The only type of music I find hard to listen to is country. I'm sorry.

I'm not much of a reader of books but I do enjoying reading the newspaper and periodicals such as National Geographic.

Fasting for 12+ hours and playing futbol during high school was one of the hardest things I've done. Both the physical and mental challenges were immense.

I can share not only the American culture but also the Kashmiri culture. I'm also very good at making a splendid dish from scratch.
