I am from İstanbul, Turkey and I am a freshly graduated doctor. I moved to Atlanta in summer 2022 and I love everything about living here. I like swimming, cooking and visiting art museums.

I have stayed in both luxurious hotels and also very modest hostels and also at my friends' houses when I am travelling. I think all of them offers you a new experience and I wanted to try couchsurfing to meet new people from different cultures and get in contact with locals of the city I am visiting.

I am interested medicine and research. I currently work in a genetics lab on a rare neurodevelopmental disease of childhood. In my free time I go to cooking workshops on world cuisines. I like going to different restaurants and learn more about culinary arts. I also like swimming and biking and visiting art museums and exhibitions as recreational acitivities.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I am a fan of Freddie Mercury. I like listening to rock music and soul/r&b, particulary Queen, Kings of Leon, Mumford and Sons, Eric Clapton and Beirut.

I have a yearly MUBI (check it out!) subscription ans I l love arthouse and independent movies. I like horror and historical genre. For Tv series, anything from Ryan Murphy, especially American Horror Story!

I also like non-fiction works of literature such as Guns, Germs and Steel by Jared Diamond and Carl Sagan books.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

In summer 2015, I volunteered for 6 weeks in Warsaw for disabled children and children from low-income groups who are not able to go to exotic vacations with their families. We organized many creative and entertaining workshops and activites for children.

I can teach you Turkish if you are interested :) and I can share my travel experiences. I also would like to talk about world cultures, peoples and politics. I also love talking about medicine, preventive actions and lifestyle changes that are good for health.

I would truly appreciate anything my host offers. If I am coming from Turkey I would like to bring Turkish delight and any other thing my host might want. I also like to cook for my host especially mediterranean cuisine.
