Currently studying hotel management in Ireland, a country which I moved to when I was 10 from Holland. I just did a year of working placement in Brussels, and before that was an au pair in France and Switzerland. I'm easy going and love to eat, drink, party, learn and travel. I try to travel alone from time to time, I feel it is the best way to meet new people 😊.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When visiting a country I want to experience what it is really like to live there, not stay at a hotel where everything is nearly the same as at home anyway. Staying with a local gives you that- a real taste of the culture and people. And a great way to make new friends!

Interests

I love anything health/fitness related, like swimming, rowing, soccer, hiking, etc, but also socialising and going out :). although I definitely enjoying clubbing, I can appreciate a night with wine and music just as much .

Music, Movies, and Books

Pretty open-minded, I'll read or watch or dance to most things 😀. I particularly like deep house and thrillers or fact filled books. I also enjoy documentaries about a range of random topics!

I really want to learn another language, maybe German or Spanish 😊.
Maybe I could teach you how to bake, I make a delicious Dutch butter cake! (Yes it's as calorific as it sounds)
