Recently finished my Sociology studies, been working on restaurants for some time. I'd like to travel in Europe, meet interesting people and talk about humankind. Nowadays I write some stuff in a videogames magazine, my speciality is Pokémon but I try to reach as many platforms and genders as I can. Really like writing, not really a good reader but I'm used to discuss with authors :D. Knowledge is my hobby and I'm glad there is too much to learn in the world. Also like going out for lunch and dinner, food's my other passion.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I came here because I've been involved in an express trip and got to find somewhere to stay my first day in Copenaghen (a bit rushed I know). Hope to start a good experience in this.

Interests

As I said, Sociology, videogames and food are my passions. Also music it is, a very importante one. I'm a frustated guitarist so you can have an idea. Humbug - Arctic Monkeys changed my lifestyle when I was a teen. Also interested in feminism, I like to read about social movements and cultural phenomenoms. I really love my studies and some day I would like to impart lessons in University.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Phoenix, Pinback, The Shins, Violadores del Verso, Sfdk, 90's teenage punkrock bands (blink182, sum41 and such), Ben Webster, Charlie Parker... I just love guitar in all its ways.

Movies: Submarine (2010, Richard Ayoade), The Royal Tennembauns, Jackie Chan kung fu movies, Jim Carrey comedies + The Truman's Show, Pulp Fiction and hipster-style-cinematic conversation about how movies influenced our lifestyle. Got really creeped with Donnie Darko.

TV: ALL COMEDY SHOWS. I can spend entire weekends watching Community bloopers, really like to laugh with TV shows. Drawn Toghether and South Park are better cartoon shows than Family Guy, American Dad and The Simpsons to me, but I can use anything on TV. Also enjoy spanish stand-up comedy and I think Berto Romero is way Better than Andreu Buenafuente

Books: Lolita (V. Nabokov), Leviatan (P. Auster), Los renglones torcidos de Dios (Luca de Tena). Sociology literature is my pleasure, I'm a great fan of Alfred Schultz and their successors P. Berger and T. Luckman with the Social Construction of Reality. Bruno Latour and Gilles Lipovetski brought a new way to understand our lifestyle. Fan of the Mainstream Culture's Frederic Martel investigation.
