Overview
About Me
We are an Australian couple travelling through Europe for 2016. We love to see and learn about the world. We are easy going and enjoy getting to know new people.
Before we left Australia we both worked full time - Erin as an Occupational Therapist and Harley as a Metallurgist.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couch surfing sounds like an awesome way to meet local people and get to know the place we are visiting from a personal perspective as opposed to a tourist brochure.
We are travelling for a year and are doing our best to see and experience as much as we can on a budget.
When we return to Australia we will also open our home to couch surfers and work-awayers as a way to continue meeting new people from around the world and to share what we know and love about our home city.
Interests
Travelling! We are both learning German, we love food (especially trying new dishes), we like board games and all kinds of music/movies/TV. Erin loves to cook (I'd be happy to cook while we couch surf).
We enjoy learning about science, history, language, some economics and politics. We are trying to read more (we are both slow readers).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quit our jobs to travel the world :)
Teach, Learn, Share
We are both learning German, if it happens that we can learn and practice with others that would be fantastic :)
Erin loves to cook - I'd love to share, teach, or learn with anyone who is willing!
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can share good company! If our host would like, we can share interesting conversations, yummy food, travel stories, and a drink or two :)
We are easy going and can fit in as it suits. We can cook, clean, and help out where possible - we are always happy to pull our weight.
