About Me

I am a musician, an artist, and an adventurer. I have travelled extensively through Thailand, Australia, Europe, and the US. Notable trips include 6 weeks in Thailand without an itinerary (so as to not shut the door on discovery and exploration), and a 5 week bike trip from Paris, through France, Italy, island hopping through Greece, and then a long ride through Turkey, ending up in Istanbul. I like laughing, having a good time, meeting new people, cooking, playing music, and enjoying every single day on this earth! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have found that one of the most rewarding thing about traveling is meeting local people. Staying in guest houses in many of my trips, getting the local flavor and meeting the unique people of the world is extremely rewarding. I am very respectful, a good cook, clean, and quiet. I am happy to socialize, chill out, listen to music, play music, etc. with cool people.

Interests

As I said, I love traveling, live music, exploring new places, talking to random people, human rights, making the world a better place, bike riding, playing music, movies, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked out to a herd of horses in the middle of the night alone in south-central Colorado. (I knew they were around) The horses were half asleep in the moonlight by a winding creek with no tack or saddle on them (of course). The second one I approached was calm and after standing with him, petting him and talking softly, i got on him. After a couple minutes, he started walking, going across the creek, and then up through a grove of Aspen Trees, stopping a couple times to let the other half dozen horses who were following to catch up. After about 20 minutes, we reached the top of the hill where a large tree stood. He went under the tree, out of the milky moonlight, stopped and settled in. Once the other horses gathered, they each took deep breaths and exhaled. I slipped off the side and hiked back to my camp, never once turning on the flashlight.

Teach, Learn, Share

Not sure what this means, but I'm happy to do all 3! :)
