Hello

My name is Irene (though I mostly go by my nickname Riishi) and I live in Ottawa, On. Playing and listening to music is my passion and the focus of most of my life these days. Currently I play in a rock duo with my boyfriend Michel (he plays drums and I play guitar and sing). The band is called Riishi Von Rex and we play goofy, sorta spookygypsy rock. (vonrex.org)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm currently a touring musician and looking to use couch surfing as a tool to save money and meet new people in the many cities and towns we visit. Once back home in Ottawa I'll be happy to host as many folks as I can and pay off the karmic debit! Hosting musicians (or staying with them) is especially appealing to me so we can trade tales and tunes!
