Hello, my name is Katie, I'm an extreme introvert, but I love being around people. I love talking and having a meaningful conversation about serious and random topics.

I think keeping an open mind to anything is a very important part of truly experiencing and getting the most out of any life experience.

I live in South Carolina. I attend The Ohio State University for Animal Science. I play the Viola (string instrument larger than the violin smaller than the cello). I love being around the water (oceans, lakes, rivers etc.).

I want to meet new people, and I want to be immersed in the culture and lifestyle of where I will be staying. I have been traveling with my family since I was young and I've been staying in fancy hotels, but I didn't feel like I was getting experience of the culture of where I would visit.

I enjoy to play the Viola.
I love being around the water and I love to swim and any water sports even if Im inexperienced. I like going for walks and hiking in the mountains and taking in the view.
I am a sucker for geocaching.
I would love to travel the world.
And finally I like spreading joy, and making a difference in the littlest ways.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have taught music in different communities of Haiti. Seeing them (the children) improve is such a heart warming thing to see. Seeing them play together as an ensomble is a joy to watch, and see their development through the short time you are with them is something to be proud of them for.

I can teach someone how to play a string instrument. I also would love to teach how to do basic origami or unit origami.

I want to learn about other cultures, and how how I differ form other people and I want to learn how people in developing countries, who may have it worst then me, can live with happiness.

I want to share music, and art. I want to share what I can offer to the world.

I can share stories of my journeys to my other countries. I can share stories of my art or if I have my Viola with my I can share my music. I am still young, so my stories are limited.
