I'm one of those people who's not sure where 'home' is at the moment, but who cares about that when there's so much to see on this beautiful planet, right? I grew up in The Netherlands, lived in London for three years and currently travel around New Zealand. I think I had my dream job, twice... but at some point, I realised that life is too short to chase career goals. So, now I'm chasing dreams instead.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm extremely interested in people, cultures and languages. During my travels, I've learned that every person has great stories to tell... and I want to hear them and tell my own in return ;) I want to get to know the real locals of the places I'm visiting and go off the beaten track. At the moment, I'm looking to exchange teaching English, marketing or both for learning Japanese and Japanese culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove 18,797 kilometres all across Australia in a 4WD, feeling a bit like a mix between David Attenborough and the first Dutch explorers of the seas. Without joking, it was such a great experience!
