Hey Guys! We are Vivien and Kostas, we are a couple traveling together :)

We met and are living in Berlin, but Kostas is from Crete, Greece and has lived and studied in the US for a few years.

Currently I'm living in Berlin, while studying Cultural Sciences in a city nearby.

I'm an open minded person who likes to travel, explore interesting places and meet new people.
I love the world with it's nature, animals and all those nice people you meet everyday! :)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I want to meet many people while travelling, make new experiences and new friends.
I first tried Couchsurfing with two friends while visiting Estonia in 2016 but the main reason I joined Couchsurfing was my visit to New York in the summer of 2016, where I stayed at various host's places for all in all 6 weeks. I totally loved it and I would always choose this concept of accommodation again, especially when travelling alone. The experience of travelling alone while never actually being alone because of the possibility of meeting so many interesting and caring people totally convinced me of Couchsurfing.
It's also a great opportunity to get to know locals and the local culture, which I'm very interested to really get to know when I'm staying somewhere abroad.
Also while living in Berlin I experienced that it's completely different to visit a city and meet with people living there than to stay in a hotel or hostel while only visiting the touristic attractions. I would rather get to know locals and find out what kind of exciting things they usually do there. I'm very curious about all those interesting places only they can show me.

I would really like to let people stay at my place too, but it's unfortunately not possible right now.

Intereses

I'm interested in cultures, history, politics, the environment, nature, (urban) art and I enjoy going to festivals in the summer or just spend a nice day in the park with my friends and my dog.
I love animals and that's one of the reasons why I live vegan since 2013.

Música, películas y libros

Music: 90s, 80s, ( actually almost everything old), hip-hop, rock and so much more (totally depends on the situation and my mood)

I also started listening to Latin music, to improve my spanish before studying a semester in Colombia and since then, I would say I almost mainly listen to latin music.

Tv-shows: Vampire Diaries, Buffy, Charmed, Game of Thrones, South Park, Community

Books: Harry Potter (of course) and many more (I love reading books)

Algo increíble que he hecho

I don't know if you would call a student exchange amazing, but studying a semester in Barranquilla, Colombia, was one of the best experiences I've made in my life so far, so for me it definitely was quite amazing.
