About Me

I am happy & positive person and I just love life & learning! I have seen a lot of places already and each journey only made my "Fernweh" (german expression for longing for the different/far away places) greater.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it's a great platform, that makes travelling and meeting people so much easier and more fun! I want to make new friends and just share a great time with them while learning about their culture.

Interests

Other customs, countries, languages, habits, traditions...other lives, basically :)
Apart from that, surfing, playing the violin & the piano, singing, and doing anything that makes me happy! (random things like playing dungeons & dragons with my friends or spontaneously shooting a movie)
Also, I am very interested in politics and everything that is going on in the world right now.
But whatever your hobbies/interests are, I want to know about them!

Music, Movies, and Books

In my opinion, Jack Kerouac's "On the Road" is simply the best book that was ever written. I usually select the books I read by the country that the author is from, because that way you get a really good insight into his culture/country/home.
As to music, my guilty pleasure is K-Pop, but usually I listen to Rock, Indie, -> Indierock, Soul, Classic, ...whatever. Good music basicay, not restricted to a genre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best thing I have ever done was taking on a sponsorship for a little girl in Nepal a couple of years ago. I have seen her grow up, we have come to call each other sisters and whenever she sends me a photo or a drawing of hers, I am close to tears, because I am so happy!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to learn about anything you can teach me, personally, I know a lot about german/european history and of course we can talk about customs, food, stories, or Hitler and Nazi-Germany, if you want to know more about that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a respectful, uncomplicated and friendly person, so I think, I can offer a good time, great stories and I cook pretty well (or at least my friends tell me I do)

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Cambodia, China, Costa Rica, Croatia, England, France, Greece, Italy, Laos, Malaysia, Morocco, Myanmar, Netherlands, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, South Korea
