My name is Miaomiao (pronounced mee-ow mee-ow, like the cat sound). I'm a Singaporean student who has been studying in the UK for four years. To know me in a nutshell: I'm a massive lover of animals, almond milk and the smell of sunblock. I'm really not that complicated and I'm always keen on chatting about nothing over some pinot.

I went on a month-long trip around Europe in the summer of 2014 and felt that I really built my character as a person in the short span of 27 days. I'm really hoping to establish a network of friends all over the world and (even if it's only once a year) keep in touch through e-/snail mail.

I am travelling to New York for the first time in June 2016, and really want to meet and mingle with the locals.

On a more nerdy side, I'm really into visual neuroscience. I really hope to produce research that's capable of advancing the technology involved in reviving vision in blind patients in the future.
