我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing as me and my friend are travelling from LA to Brazil for the Olympics this summer. We're wanting to get shown around or told about the places to go by locals that know the best places to show us, we want an idea of what it's like to live in each place.

We are also writing and publishing articles on each place we visit regarding social issues or perspectives that people in Europe and the US wouldn't otherwise have. We would love people from the areas we're at to provide an input by getting to know their opinions about the area.

I could teach people about British life, the social issues its facing. I can teach people some recipes to cook that I have picked up whilst working in a restaurant. I can also teach people some Serbian, should they wish to learn it!

I'd love to learn about people's countries from a citizens perspective. Things such as where locals go to eat, places to go out on a night and the history of the area. I also want to learn about the social issues that affects people living there and the effects of them.

I enjoy cooking as I used to work in a restaurant and if ever I'm surfing I always offer to cook.
