I am 24 years old, ambitious, open-minded and love traveling.
I grew up with my parents and two sisters in a small village in northern Denmark, where the wind blows and there is never more than 15 kilometres to a sandy beach. I guess that's why I like nature so much. Beautiful views can really overwhelm me! But I do like visiting cities too. There I like to spend my time visiting museums and cafes.
Later I've moved to the second biggest city of Denmark, which isn't that big (it is popularly called "the world's smallest major city"). I study educational science and have just finish my third year at university.
So, what else do I do... I like running, ice cream (food in general) and a nice talk about more or less important things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like experiencing new cultures and meeting new people!
Before university I travelled a lot in Germany. I did workaway, which means that I worked in exchange of board and lodging. But it was an exchange of much more than that. I got to know both the locals and the other workawayers.
The first time I travelled "for real" was in the summer 2013 when I was in Cambodia with an ngo. Together with other young people, I stayed with a local couple and taught English. Less than a year after, I went on a short exchange in China for a couple of weeks. I guess sitting in that Chinese middle class apartment with my Chinese friend, Wang, is the biggest culture shock I've had so far - but in a good way.
