About Me

Hello everyone !
I am an 22-years old student from Paris, France. I believe that I am curious, open-minded and tolerant !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recently chose to create a couchsurfing page because I am planning a 3-weeks travel to Iran with my girlfriend Coline next june. We were told that it's the best way to truly discover the country and its wonderfully welcoming people! It can give us the opportunity to have an inside-view of the country, get in touch with local people, and travel according to our limited student-budget ;)

Interests

My interests are very diverse. I am keen partying and meeting new people, but I also like reading and hiking on my own. I love running and swimming. I spend a lot of my free time discovering new songs and new artists. To finish with, I enjoy political conversations and being confronted with different ways of thinking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have to say I fell in love with South African music when I went there. Try it yourself! : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4Bb7p9gggc
More generally, I like almost every kind of music and I am interested in discovering new horizons! I love Jazz, House, Techno, Funk, Afrobeat, Bossa Nova, Hip Hop, Soul...
For my favourite books, I would pick a French one and a South African one. "L'étranger" written by Camus is definitely my favourite French book and I would say "Waiting for the barbarians" of Coetzee is my SA favourite book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 2 years living in a different country than my girlfriend Coline because we both did a university exchange. I went to South Africa for a year, and she moved to Turkey the year after. In the end, this situation strengthened our relationship and trust in each other. I also gave us a good reason to travel in southern Africa and the Middle East !

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer great stories for my previous travels, a taste of my french culture, and my good mood !
