I am a Maths and English teacher by profession. Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa but currently living in Kansas City and working as an au pair. I love to try new things and I love learning about other cultures. I like trying new foods/drinks and meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing for a few reasons. A) It'll help me on my travels
B) I'll have the opportunity to meet and get to know a local
C) Once I return home, I'd like to help other travelers by hosting when I'm able.

Interests

I am interested in travelling, meeting new people, trying new things, seeing new things. I love music, art, culture and the outdoors. Some of my favourite things to do is to watch live music, to spend time in nature and to have conversations with new , interesting people, hopefully with YOU.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have bungee jumped from Bloukrans Bridge, apparently the highest in the world. I have bathed elephants in Thailand and Paraglided off of the Austrian Alps.
