Hi!
My name is Markéta. I am art student from Czech Republic. I live in Karlik, which is a little village near Prague. I like traveling, good food, literature, films, theatre, music, art and inspirative people. I am very excited to discover and try new things and make new friend around the world, which are, in the same time, the main reasons why I spent last school year (2016/2017) in Avignon (France).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

How I said, I love traveling do new things and make new friends, so I would like to meet people and share something of our cultures. :) I think that these are the main reasons.
(Than there is a question of money too, because for me as a student is traveling a little expensive, haha)

That´s why I am here :)

Interests

Well, I like to do many things. I play several music instruments (clarinet, saxophone, i try to play the guitar,...), I play the theater, I love swing music and dance. I am not the bigest athlete in the world, but I like to do some sports like cycling, riding a horse, walking, swimming and doing yoga too.

-I like almost every style of music, but just for example: Massive Attack, LP, Aurora, Jake Bugg, film music, classic music, jazz, John Frusciante, The Dead South, John Butler, The Correspondents, Avishai Cohen, The Piano Guys, Morcheeba... It really depends on my mood.
-When we speak abu film, that could be: Predestination, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Le Fabuleux Destin d´Amélie Poulain, The 20th Century Women, The Imitation Game,..
-And books: L´Écume des jours (Boris vian), A Confederacy of Dunces (John Kennedy Toole), Never let me go (Kazuo Ishiguro), Howl (Allen Ginsberg),...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For me it was my one-year-living in France. But I try to do my best and I try to help people around me every day of my life, so it could be these little things, i guess:)
