Hey I'm brandon mcduffie, 21 year old struggling artist and musician. I guess I want to couch surf different places here while I work for a few months until I can save up and afford my own place here in ft. Lauderdale. I already have a job at panera bread but would enjoy having a roof over my head until I can afford to move into my own place. I can teach you how to play guitar ! I have an amazing collection of records if you have a turntable . I want to get out of my shell and get comfortable always being in a new situation

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I need a place to stay while I work and save money so I can get my own place. I don't have family down here but I love the city and would love to put my life on the right track here. I already have a job, and I'm going to school in July. My cousin has let people couch surf his apartment before and the unique friendships made with people are some of the most memorable ones I've ever had

Interests

Music. Particularly 10cc. I mean 10cc is like the greatest band in the world. Such intricately progressive yet catchy rock and roll/oldies pop music made by four of the most talented musicians to ever walk the planet. 6 if you count the members that joined after Godley and creme left the band, after all the post Godley and creme lineup pumped out bloody tourists, and man let me tell you, that may be their best album ever. If only they got signed to Virgin records, we'd be hearing them on the airwaves today... I promise I won't talk about them all the time. Oh yeah and I love cooking, painting, and I'll totally clean for you too when I'm not working . Man cleaning to 10cc is the greatest thing ever.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music of all kinds and yes I love other bands besides 10cc. From Elton John to dr. Dre to Metallica to Dean Martin to Curtiss Mayfield to Johnny cash to electric light orchestra and beyond. My music taste goes by the guidelines of my personality, I don't discriminate and am always open to find something I love about each unique genre. Don't have a favorite movie but always open to suggestions

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I played in a band for a while in different locations over Florida , had A blast doing it but now aspire to gain work and school experience to back me up, and create more of a story for future music to come

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you guitar, and I honestly only know movin out by Billy Joel on the piano , but that's still a pretty good one. I have been known to make guacamole that can bring people to tears. If you ever need a crash course in 10cc trivia I'm sure I could help you out.
