Hi,

My name is Júlia. I'm 23 years old girl. I live in Barcelona, but my family come from another small town wich I still visit frequently. I love living in the city, but sometimes I really need to take some fresh air!

Currently I study Philosophy at university and German as a fourth lenguage, due to I speak catalan as a mothertongue and spanish and english. I love learning lenguages, it's something very important in Philosophy.

I also dance since I was 5. I practice specially contemporany dance and ballet, I couldn't live with out dancing! I'm also dancing teacher of a little girls in a primary school.

I'm also very concerned about politics. Nowadays we are living a very important moment in Catalonia, bacause we are asking for democracy and being punished instead. I can explain a lot about that!

I'm a happy person, because I have always spend my time on things I belive in and wich I love. It sometimes brings me some troubles (like don't having much job expectation or don't having much free time), but I'm happy anyway.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in CS because I love travelling, but not doing turism. So I think that CS is the best way to be in a place, knowing about the people who live there, and get a nice experience. As many people, I guess, CS is a cheap way of travelling, and money is always an important issu to think about!

When I discovered about CS I realised that our global world has also its good things, like we are more open and willing to share our home or our live with people we just met by internet. It's a new way of having relations with people and discover the world, which I find very interesting and hopeful for our XXI century's world. Technology can be an oportuny if we use it properly!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share with Hosts my point of view of the world and my philosophical knowledge. I also can speak a lot about the political moment we are living in Catalonia and try to explain to those who are interested on that issue. I can share to my passion to travell and discovering new places and hear about other's knowledge and experiences.
