About Me
Hi there! I'm a 27 year old female, currently doing a second undergraduate degree in Food and Nutrition in Toronto, Canada. I decided to go on a study-abroad exchange in Australia for a semester, and have been trying to travel nearby countries as much as possible. Once I finish school I will have less time to travel as I will be more focused on finding a job in what I have studied.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While travelling through New Zealand with a good friend of mine, we stayed with multiple couch surfing hosts that she had arranged. It was always such a great experience! They all offered a comfortable place to stay, interesting conversation, and local insights and tips into the region we were travelling. It was a great way to meet people, learn about the local lifestyle, and possibly make travel plans together.
Interests
I love everything that revolves around cooking and growing food. I'm very open minded when it comes to food, and love trying new cultural dishes. I'm also interested in music (mostly indie, alternative/rock, experimental- not particularly "top hits"). Also into art and yoga- try to practice it when I have free time. And of course interested in travelling! Why else join this website...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Scuba diving course! I really put myself out of my comfort zone on this one and it was such a rewarding experience. Got to see some very rare and endangered sea horses (weedy sea dragons) close to Melbourne, Australia where I did my course. I loved sea horses when I was a kid and never imagined actually diving with them! This diving course will open up a lot of doors and add a whole new world of travelling and exploring, especially once I upgrade to my open water course - planning a diving trip right now in Malaysia Borneo!
I also trekked the tallest mountain in Southeast Asia, the highest peak between Everest and New Zealand!
