Overview
About Me
I'm a 23-year-old student of sociology. Normally I live and study in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. I'm a easy-going, laid-back kind of guy. I enjoy meeting new people and traveling the world. At the moment I'm doing an exchange in Vancouver, BC at UBC. I'm really excited about exploring the city and British Columbia and from what I've seen and experienced so far it's an absolutely wonderful place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm fairly new to couchsurfing but I'm here because it seems like a great opportunity to meet locals and people you otherwise wouldn't have met. I find that meeting people and getting to know them is a great part of experiencing the world and couch surfing allows that in a great way.

Music, Movies, and Books
At the moment I'm reading "The Wind-Up-Bird Chronicle" by Haruki Murakami. I'm a big fan of his writing and I'm trying to read as much of his stuff as I can. I'm also working my way through "frames of war" by Judith Butler and have to more books waiting in my backpack. I really enjoy Tarantino's movies but I'll basically watch anything from horror movies to chick flicks. At the moment I'm listening a lot to Tame Impala and Anderson .Paak but as with movies I will generally listen to every genre out there.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In India I once stopped a wedding party moving through town because I started dancing with them and everyone was so busy with the Danish guy dancing that they forgot to focus on the groom on his way to the wedding. In the end they had to tell me to stop dancing so the party could carry on.
I once trekked for 11 days through the Himalayas and it was absolutely wonderful.
I scuba dived for three weeks in the Gili Islands in Indonesia and had a fantastic time.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am down for conversations about our different homes and stories about Denmark and my life. If you ask me I would like to cook for you as well - as long as you can live with the fact that it will be vegetarian.
