Although I have been a professional opera singer for many years, and performed all over the world, I proudly admit that my favorite music is ABBA, and that is what I listen to every day. A close second would be the samba music of Roberta Sa, and then the video game compositions of Japanese Composer Nobuo Uematsu, famous for giving life to the Final Fantasy Franchise from the very beginning, all the way through their teens.

Movies - Cinema Paradiso, 1990 academy award winner, best foreign film.
I love foreign films. If it's an American movie, I don't generally ever see it in the theater. But, I seek out whatever does well at Cannes, and at the film festivals around the world.

Books - Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follet, A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones) George R. R. Martin, The Bible (on my third time through it) God, anything Tolkien or C. S. Lewis, Austen, Doyle, Robert Jordan, and J.K. Rowling.
