Hi folks,
We are two French friends traveling around the world for 5 months, to discover new people, places and cultures!
Back at home, we are studying in a business school. We took a gap year to have time to travel, meet new people and discover amazing places. During this trip, we'll discover Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Chili, Australia, Bali, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand.
Clément is from the south of France. He has all the local qualities : funny, relaxed, down-to-earth, yet eager to party. His hobbies include music, especially psychedelic rock, photography, skiing, cycling, and overall just enjoying life.
Benjamin is from Paris. However, he managed to become a funny, easy-going, dynamic, full of life young man. He also is fond of music, but also movies, arts, partying and travels.
Thanks to our different experiences (Clément lived in Berlin for a year, Benjamin traveled around Latin America 2 years ago), we both are fluent in English, Spanish, and German. Moreover, we love to meet new people, share great stories around a good home-cooked meal (which we would be happy to provide) and some wine. We are used to accommodate to different way of life and we love sharing ideas with people, even make them discover some aspects of the “French touch”.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are both students trying to find the best experiences possible while on a budget.
Couchsurfing is perfect for us, because it aggregates everything we're looking for. We love meeting new people, discovering new point of view, ways of living, cultures and ideas.
Moreover, we feel like staying with locals, sharing their lives for a while, and following their advice is the best way to really discover a new place.

Interests

We are both members of a radio association podcasting cultural shows. We've been friends for 4 years, and share a great deal of interests. Culture is a major part of our lives. We enjoy music, movies, litterature and arts.
We are also really interested in discovering different ways to enjoy night life around the world.
Finally, we are looking forward to display to you our skills in cooking, and bring you a touch of french cuisine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

From July to September 2013, we went to Peru to participate in an humanitarian mission (Mission Andes: https://www.facebook.com/Mission-Andes-363814626971913/) consisting in managing a micro-financing project in Andamarca, a Peruvian village from the region Ayacucho. During two months, we hve been living within this incredible community, learning about their difficulties, hopes, projects and needs. We discovered another culture directly having great talks with them and we kept a closed relationship with them.
