I like to define myself by what I am doing or have done. I am a passionate about ecology, environment and art, specially oil painting that is why I studied Environmental Sciences and also Fine Arts. Nowadays I am a Ph D fellowship working for the Politechnic University of Valencia in Spain. My thesis is about the relation of Art and environmental conciusness in transition to sustainability projects. I am 35 years old, living and enjoining Valencia but I come from the South of Spain (yes, I can dance a little flamenco and cook paella!! typical spanish!! hahaha!) but I left my family home to study in Madrid with 16 years old. Since then, I have lived in several cities in Spain ( Granada, Guadalajara, Seville,...)and abroad (Padova in Italy, Izmit and Istambul in Turkey) learning to open my mind with each experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting new people and sharing my culture! After living in some differents cities I have the luck to love the city where I live and appreciate even more the spanish culture, so I am proud to show it. Now I live in Valencia with my boyfriend and almost all our friends are from the couch-surfing group here (in fact, we met in a couch party, he,he,he) so I am used to the system and we often join the activities like hiking, beach-volley, canyoning and thursday´s nights beer.

Interests

I consider my self a very active person trying to keep the child inside me alive. That is why I am always eager to learn new things, new people and new places. I enjoy outdoor activities specially hiking, but also loves acting, laughing, playing the fool, painting, attending concerts and music festivals. I would like to say that I can play the guitar, sing and understand maths but I really admire people who does!

While working on a dolphin tour boat in Gibraltar assisting how a baby-born listed dolphin was playing with an Bottle-nose adult dolphin 10 times bigger!!
Swiming in hot water stream little pools at Pamukkale in Turkey while sunset. Walking on the snow around Venice while snowing, no tourist, no sounds, only magic.

What I Can Share with Hosts

l used to work as a spanish language teacher and love to teach. Love cooking! and never have posioned nobody... I also can dance a little flamenco, and I am a painter and have painted some murals on wall houses.
